2 week experience

This all-inclusive camp offers a premier training experience in one of Europe's top baseball environments. Throughout the camp, athletes will train in a structured, training-camp setting led by experienced professional coaches. The focus of this camp is off-season development of fundamentals, mobility, and movement work through focused training sessions, driving overall performance growth in a true international baseball atmosphere. Players will engage in sessions designed to tune up mechanics and prepare the body for the demands of the season ahead.

Beyond the field, players will experience everything Amsterdam has to offer both in and out of the game, with curated activities that highlight the city's rich culture, historic canals, and world-renowned landmarks. The camp is designed to combine high-level baseball training with a meaningful travel experience that develops athletes on the field and individuals off it.

PLAY BALL EUROPE

Extra Innings is proud to partner with Playball Europe. Founded with the vision of bringing the American game closer to young European talent, Playball Europe has spent decades developing players, hosting clinics across Europe, and building a permanent home at the International Baseball Academy in Amsterdam.

Playball Europe has long-standing ties with Major League Baseball, with former MLB scouts among its instructors and several alumni signing professional contracts with MLB organizations. In 1977, Playball Europe welcomed bring baseball icon Hank Aaron to the Netherlands — a landmark moment for Dutch baseball. In 2019, the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation (KNBSB) honored the academy with the prestigious Leen Volkerijk Award, recognizing it as one of Europe's most respected baseball instructional academies.

Amsterdam living

Campers will be housed at our partnered hotel located near the training facility. Players will be assigned to supervised, shared accommodations for the duration of the camp, with staff present throughout their stay.

Training

    Train in a true college-style environment with structured practices, advanced drills, and coaching that reflects the expectations of U.S. college baseball. All coaches are former or current professional or collegiate players.

  • Experienced instructors

    Our camp is led by instructors who have played at the highest levels of the game. Each has competed for Dutch Major League teams or the Dutch National Team. Others bring experience from the MLB and Minor Leagues or from top-tier American university programs, giving athletes direct access to coaching shaped by elite, real-world competition.

  • Great facilities

    Athletes train at top-tier facilities equipped for serious development — quality playing fields, batting cages, and dedicated training spaces that support every part of the game.
